Beartooth River Ranch

The experiences shared and the friendship generously extended makes this ranch a special destination. Known for working ranch vacations with a personal touch, Beartooth River Ranch is a family-friendly ranch well-situated near Yellowstone National Park for year round holiday and vacation packages. Don’t just take our word for it—it’s all here for you to discover: history, superb landscapes and ranch activities.

The Beartooth River Ranch makes its home along the banks of the Clarks Fork of the Yellowstone near Belfry, Montana. The ranch is located in the foothills of the scenic Beartooth Mountains with panoramic views including the Absarokee Mountains and the Pryor Mountains. There is everything from mountain forests to rolling hills and meadows across their almost 40,000 acres of ranch land with opportunities for scenic trail riding, wide open country riding, and cattle work on horseback.

The ranching operation was featured on the Travel Channel program called “Meet the Natives USA.” The episode showing the South Pacific islanders enjoying their cowboy adventures at the Beartooth River Ranch was the most popular of the season. Guests share the same experience.
You can participate in ranch riding, checking herd health, sorting and trailing cattle. Enjoy attending a local rode, a day in Yellowstone Park, as well as spending time with your host family. With all the fresh air and activities, everyone appreciates the good, hearty, home cooked meals, and sharing stories about the day’s events.
